  1. We have this at the roadsides near our property. It is very tolerant of the dry season, almost drought. It has big seeds too. Maybe the Penang butterfly farm plant this only for the larvae, i wonder what butterfly eats this, as i havent seen any larvae on it. You might probably know, as you also love butterflies. This plant is also very invasive.

  2. I have also seen this plant at the Secret Garden of 1-Utama. The Penang Butterfly Farm (PBF) plant it at the front entrance. It occupies a big area and very attractive. I have seen big black carpenter bees buzzing around the flowers. I am aware that it is a host plant for the Diaprepes Root Weavil. PBF also exhibits live insects specimens. I wonder the Elephant Vine is a host plant for any species of butterflies?
