Dear readers,
Knowing the botanical/scientific name is good because it enables us to search for more information about certain plants that we like. Understanding their specific needs and requirements will increase our success rate in growing them. This is the first step towards being a better gardener/garden owner.
May your garden be filled with blooming flowers of many kinds and may it also be the source of much joy and happiness in your life. We have a Chinese saying,
"Prosperity is here when flowers bloom"
(花开富贵 - Hua Kai Fu Gui).

Good Luck with your gardening efforts!

ReplyDeleteSiti, I have sent you a friend request in FB. I look forward to viewing your garden fountains.
ReplyDeleteHello Autumn Belle, I stumbled upon your blog... I am now a Canadian, have been for the past 30 years, just a bit of an intro about myself. I grew up in the neighbourhood of Kepong, not far from KL. That says it all & the fact that I am somewhat of an avid gardener so I became curious about your blog and I feel I've found another treasure... Lately I've been reading a few blogs of "strangers" and wondered about this whole business of blogging. I feel that on some level, some of these blogs are no longer about "strangers". For instance, Autumn Belle, your blog has made me feel that we are friends... there is a kinship of common interests - gardening & writing. Thank you for sharing. I invite you to find me on FB, under Connie Chong-Ee.
ReplyDeleteHi, Connie. Thank you very much for your words of encouragement. I have sent you a friend request in FB. You are right. We can find real friends via blogging. I'd be so happy to have friends all around the world :P
DeleteMs Belle,
ReplyDeleteHow many blogs do you have altogether? OMG!! Only today I came across this one. When you told me earlier about My Nice Flowers, I thought there was a typo instead of My Nice Garden. So sorry about the confusion.
Your opening remarks are so touching. I may do that sometime to my blog for 'my love'. Don't know when though.
Ash, I certainly encourage you to. You know, I always come here to read my own page and cry over all my regrets and mistakes I made in life, then I feel so much better because each time after this, I'll know how to improve myself.
DeleteDo you notice that this page is hidden somewhere in blogosphere, only to be discovered by those who's paths are fated to cross? I'm glad yours and mine did and this will be a moment in time in a page in a chapter in my "Book of Life".
Oh Ms Belle, don't be so hard on yourself, it makes me sad too. Memories of 'my love' is still fresh in my mind, that's why I find it hard to put it down in writing. I tried to write but I couldn't continue so I deleted the whole thing. I don't know when that time will come, if it ever comes. Somethings are better left unspoken.
ReplyDeleteGod led me to this page and I thank God that our path crossed each other. You have been very supportive to me in so many ways and forever I'll be thankful to you. May God bless you with better tomorrows. Cheer up.
Ash, thanks! I do agree with you that different people will deal with this in different ways. Do what you feel is right. Mother Nature and Time are great healers. I am okay.
DeleteHi Elaine, I stumbled across your blog too. I love taking photos of nature (flowers, plants and insects) but often I do not know the name of the plants. Thank you for sharing so many valuable information abt plants and flowers on your blog. Just to let you know I have copied some plant info onto my photo blog, but will always link back to you (original source).
