Malay name: Bunga Akar Dani, Bunga Setanduk, Redani, Selimpas, Udani, Urdani

Family: Combretaceae
Origin: Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, New Guinea, and the Philippines
Category: Evergreen perennial climber, Ligneous vine

Quisqualis is derived from the Latin words quis for "who?" and qualis for "what?"
