Cananga odorata var. fruticosa - The Dwarf Ylang-ylang Tree

Origin: Myanmar to Southeast Asia to Northern Australia

The dwarf garden form is Canaga odorata var. fruticosa (from Thailand)

Fragrant ylang-ylang oil from the flowers of the Canaga odorata tree is reputed to be used as one of the ingredients of Chanel no. 5.
