Scientific name: Hibiscus schizopetalus
Synonym: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis var. schizopetalus

Common names: Coral Hibiscus, Japanese Lantern, Chinese Lantern,
Skeleton Hibiscus, Fringe Hibiscus, Fringe Rosemallow, Waltzing Ladies

Chinese name: 吊灯芙桑 (diao deng fu sang) - Chandeliar flower
Malay name: Bunga Raya Tanglung (Malaysia), Kembang Sepatu Lampu (Indonesian)

Family: Malvaceae
Origin: Uncertain, maybe East Africa or India
