“Life is full of beauty. Notice it.
Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces.
Smell the rain, and feel the wind.
Smell the rain, and feel the wind.
Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

Dear readers,
Knowing the botanical/scientific name is good because it enables us to search for more information about a certain plant and understanding about their specific needs and requirements makes us better gardeners.
May your garden be filled with blooming flowers of many kinds and may it also be the source of much joy and happiness in your life. We have a Chinese saying,
"Prosperity is here when flowers bloom"
(花开富贵 - Hua Kai Fu Gui).

ReplyDeleteHello Autumn Belle, I stumbled upon your blog... I am now a Canadian, have been for the past 30 years, just a bit of an intro about myself. I grew up in the neighbourhood of Kepong, not far from KL. That says it all & the fact that I am somewhat of an avid gardener so I became curious about your blog and I feel I've found another treasure... Lately I've been reading a few blogs of "strangers" and wondered about this whole business of blogging. I feel that on some level, some of these blogs are no longer about "strangers". For instance, Autumn Belle, your blog has made me feel that we are friends... there is a kinship of common interests - gardening & writing. Thank you for sharing. I invite you to find me on FB, under Connie Chong-Ee.
ReplyDeleteHi, Connie. Thank you very much for your words of encouragement. I have sent you a friend request in FB. You are right. We can find real friends via blogging. I'd be so happy to have friends all around the world :P
